I have fallen ill and I am taking advantage of the excuse not do work. I finished a friendship woven cuff, button necklace, a pair of earings, and fixed my camera. I am searching for a free copy of Pride and Prejudice (the book) and scowring my room for my composition book.
I still haven't bought that glue gun, or polaroid film. I have a lot of things to do in my free time, but the lack of health is disabling me. I will post again soon, but I felt this was needed for the moment.

A Much Needed New Post

It is picture day! It also happens to be delayed start to may delight, which means I have an extra 2 hours at my disposal.
I have been working on a million projects lately, I hope to post a few mid-process pictures soon.
Most of my time has been filled with my Creative Writing class. I do enjoy the course but, I'm having trouble transitioning from one element to the next. I will figure it all out though.
This weekend did allow me to go and attend The Yankee Peddler Festival, basically like an old time settler community. I only went at the promise of hot apple cider. While there I found an extraordinary flint arrowhead necklace (which I purchased) and a hand crocheted wire and button necklace (which I did not have the funds for). The button necklace served as an inspiration for both, my next composition piece and my next necklace. Both ideas are near completion, and I again hope to share an exerpt soon. Well, I am keeping this relatively short, so I do plan on posting again soon.

What are your recent finds?

I had an amazing day. It doesn't need to be told, just entitled as "Best Day Ever".

So, it is currently 2:10 and I am not tired at all. I contemplating my upcoming homecoming, I had planned not to go, but recent persuations have convinced me that I should attend. I want to wear the black dress from last year, though I do like getting new dresses. I believe everyone does.
On another note, I am currently listening to the newest Iron and Wine album. I must confess, I find it exceptional. The less than acoustic background music would normally through me into a tizzy, but today it is just what I am looking for. Sam Beam is so pleasing to the ears, it's simply hard to not enjoy it.
I wish I had more to write on, or more readers. But, I'm not going to feast on woe. It's really my own fault, I have an odd fear of people I know judging me through writing. Writing is deep, yet so incredibly shallow. The entire idea gives me the shivers. I really should just tell a few friends that I have a blog, I know they would read it. I just don't feel like turning this spot into Myspace or Facebook. Oh well.

Thank you for enduring my incoherent ramblings,
Kayla
